This week on #Rightnowish, we catch up with #Oakland singer-songwriter and roller skating enthusiast @mikomarks2u, who we last spoke with in 2019. Since then, roller skating has blown up as a result of the pandemic 🛼

Her roller skating crew, the @oaklandrollers, gained a lot of new members during this time and Miko got the opportunity to work on new music projects and further her music career 🎵

“We wanted to highlight the fact that black people were a part of country music’s foundation when it was started,” she says.
