Yesterday greenpeacearg activists hung from a bridge in Bariloche, Argentina and unfolded a 20-metre-long sign with a clear message  Incendios forestales: Basta de impunidad (Forest fires: Enough with impunity).

Patagonian Andean forests are increasingly threatened by fires caused by human activity, either by negligence or in a deliberate way. Every year the situation gets worse with the climate crisis, drought and pine plantations.

En Bariloche, activistas de greenpeacearg se colgaron del puente que cruza el arroyo La Angostura, el cual une los lagos Nahuel Huapi y Moreno, y desplegaron un cartel de 20 metros de largo con un claro mensaje  Incendios forestales: Basta de impunidad.

Los #bosques andino patagónicos se encuentran cada vez más amenazados por los #incendios provocados por la actividad humana, ya sea por negligencia o de manera intencional. Cada año la situación se agrava con la #CrisisClimática, la #sequía y las plantaciones de pino.
