🌕 There’s a blue supermoon on Wednesday, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it. The next time you’ll be able to see this astronomical phenomenon is NINE YEARS from now.

Your first question is probably: “Will the moon actually be blue?” Sadly, no. Blue moon is “the term for when we see the full moon twice in a single month,” according to nasa.

Your second question is probably: “What’s a supermoon?” It’s when a full moon’s orbit is closest to Earth, making it brighter and more prominent.

25% of all full moons are supermoons, and just 3% of all full moons are blue moons, making the combination of the two an extraordinary sight to behold (once in a blue moon, indeed).
