All of our internal flights visiting the South Pole, Dixie’s Camp (our stopover expedition camp en-route to the South Pole) and the world famous Emperor penguin colony at Atka Bay, will be via our Basler DC3, BT-67.

These remote locations are made accessible thanks to specially ski-adapted landing gear designed to land on ice and snow. 

A $9million overhaul has transformed a former WW2 utility plane into a versatile and trusted aircraft with upgraded avionics that adhere to the highest safety standards.
