So Maverik just sent us the all new Havok head. So let go ahead and unbox it.

Maverik was also kind enough to send over a few more goodies, being a pair of socks, hat, and t shirt.

Overview text from Maverik states “The all new Havok Head is designed for the elite playmaking LSM or Close Defensemen. With the best in class strength to wait ratio this head will deliver precise checks and increase caused turnover. The new ground control feature will ensure you dominate rhe GB Battle”

Time for a quick run down of the head.

The head features a new face shape, which is a bit tighter and more streamlined than the tank.

The Sidewall design is similar to the Centrik just has an extra strut in the lower part of the head near the throat.

The head borrows some tech from the Kinetik and Tactik the first being it is made out of the same nylon which is called Duratough and X rail which is supposed to better the heads strength to weight ratio.

It features a level 4 bottom rail which caters to a mid high pocket which is great for defenders.

Moving on to stringing, the head has the standard 6 top string holes all of which will be big enough for leathers, 17 sidewall holes, and something new.. 5 bottom string holes

You should be able to get a decent mid high pocket in this head or a really solid mid pocket.

MSRP is set at $90 and Lastly the head comes in 4 colors white, black, gray, and hyperlight blue.

That's gonna be it for this quick look at the new Havok head, it drops July 4th 2018.
