Celebrating the natural beauty of San Francisco on Earth Day! 🌎🌁

San Francisco ranks third nationally for access to green space with 220 parks and 3,274 acres of park & outdoor spaces within the city! 🌳

Golden Gate Park accounts for approximately 1/3 of green space within the city. It’s USF’s neighborhood park, located 0.2 miles from the Hilltop! 🎡

Today, we are also reminded to #InvestInOurPlanet and community to make it a cleaner and greener home. Three years ago, USF reached its goal of carbon neutrality through:

💧Reducing campus water use by 30 percent

⚡️Installing micro turbines that produce heat and electricity right on campus

♻️ Diverting more than two-thirds of waste generated on campus from landfills through reuse, recycling, and composting

Check out our link in bio for information on Earth Day events through the end of the month!
