Direction of Public Safety and Chief of University Police Jim Duckham officially retired Aug. 31 after more than 30 years in law enforcement, including over nine years with Ball State. The search to fill the position has already begun and is expected to be concluded by October, according to Vice President of Student Affairs Ro-Anne Engle.
