thank you so much to everybody who has subscribed to our page or followed our journey and shared kindness and hope with us since adopting these two wonderful, deaf rescues Poundcake and Milkshake. Our journey has been a long one to get to this point, overcoming addiction, and building a life that is beautiful from a very dark past. We are far from perfect but are trying to turn this life around each day we’re here.

I often am still completely shocked and stunned that this community is here and it gives me such a profound sense of purpose when somebody says our story has helped weather in their personal life, or perhaps has inspired someone to adopt an animal.

My hope is that by continuing to share the story, other people who have not yet heard it might also realize that there is hope even in life’s darkest moments. perhaps people who are on the fence about adopting animals might do it. Perhaps people who think there is something wrong with deaf or differently l-abled animals might realize that there isn’t. I don’t know if this message will continue to resonate, but I’m going to keep sharing it and keep looking for a good causes to support along the way. I’m no expert. I’m just trying to do a good thing with the audience that is here. take care today, share if you care to.
