[BREAKING] The first draft text of the Global #PlasticsTreaty has been released today ahead of the negotiations picking back up again in Kenya this November. ⁣

The draft is both good and bad.⁣
⁣
It includes provisions to reduce plastic production but 🛢 but falls short on many of Greenpeace’s key demands.⁣
⁣
We need world governments to be a lot more ambitious to deliver a treaty that actually tackles the plastic crisis. ⁣
