🌴🇵🇷 A Taste of Puerto Rico in Boise! 🌴🇵🇷

Hey everyone! 👋 TJ (prohausboise )and I recently visited wepacafeboise and  I couldn't wait to share our experience ✨

First of all, a little background: I've known Art since 2018, and it's been an absolute pleasure watching his journey and growth as a local business owner. From catering special events to setting up a food cart at local Saturday markets, and now this beautiful brick-and-mortar restaurant in Garden City – it's truly inspiring! 🌟

wepacafeboise is a celebration of Puerto Rican culture, and you can feel it in every bite. The flavors are a mix of Spanish, Taino Indian, and Afro-Caribbean influences, creating an explosion of taste and aroma in every dish. 🌮🍛

Here's what TJ and I indulged in:
👉 Appetizer Sampler (Pastelillos, Tostones, Alcapurrias, and Bacalaitos) - A perfect start to our meal, bursting with authentic flavors and textures.
👉 Arroz con Pollo - A hearty chicken and rice casserole with a delightful blend of onions, peppers, olives, and capers.
👉 Mofongo Entree - Mashed savory green plantains with garlic butter and chicharrón, topped with your choice of protein or veggies. A unique and mouthwatering experience!
👉 And the grand finale: Pina Colada Cheesecake - Topped with fresh pineapple lime curd. Dessert heaven, seriously! 🍰🍍

But it's not just about the food; it's about the heartwarming mission behind Wepa Cafe. They're giving back to Puerto Rican relief efforts as the island continues to recover from Hurricane Maria. You can join in these efforts – check out ""Our Cause"" for more information. ❤️🇵🇷
