alrighty friends, prepare yourself for a long one. currently, i am on a bus with a mask on my face driving back to good ole clemson where my cozy hotel room, which is posing as my temporary home, will be waiting. life is so crazy and 2020 has presented us with trials we could have only dreamt of, but not only on a world level. individually, 2020 has been a year of hardship, and because of this hardship, it’s been a year of growth. moving away from home has been so much harder than i ever expected it would be. it has challenged me in countless ways, but i can confidently say that i have seen so much improvement in myself. there would have been a day i would have shut down and pushed everyone out, but instead, i faced this challenge head on. in doing this, my perspective on life had change immensely. i may be a division one student athlete, but more importantly, i am a daughter of a King. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a follower of Christ. And I am proud of that. i want to wear the jersey of Christ and represent Him well. general conference this weekend has been such a blessing and although i was unable to catch all the sessions, i am beyond grateful for modern technology that will allow me to go back and study the words of our amazing church leaders. God is real and He is aware of each us. He knows exactly where you are and what you’re struggling with. Christ, our Savior, understands us perfectly. He suffered on the cross and bled through every poor in the garden of gethsemane. Turn to him and lay down all your burdens to Him. anywayyyyy there is my long spill! I love you all! to close this long rant i would like to end with the wise words of our sweet prophet, president nelson, “let God prevail”. 🖤🤍🖤
