## Caption

Less than six months ago a dirtbike crash in Vietnam left me with a lacerated Achilles and dashed my hopes of a summit soda filled summer. 

But a constant goal I had during my recovery was this trip to Japan for the adventuretravelassociation world summit and my ambitious sign up for summiting 8 mountains in Hokkaido’s Daisetsuzan National Park, including Hokkaido’s tallest summit, Asahi-dake with adhokkaidotours. 

The last six days have been a dream come true to not only feel the strongest I’ve felt since before the accident, but to do it in an unbelievably beautiful place. Lots more photos, videos and stories to come from this special place. I’M BACK.
