## Caption

In order to capture this effect on 35mm film, director Ramez Silyan and DP Marx Miller tracked down and retrofitted an old high speed Photosonics camera - many of which were used for nuclear testing by the US government. 

A single 1000ft load of film equals approximately 5 seconds of run time once it gets up to speed.

Due to cloudy weather conditions, three 18K HMI fresnels and 2 Arrimax 18K Pars were pointed at the subject, from less than 35ft away in order to reach the desired exposure.
