Happy Monday Wildcats! It’s a great day to welcome a new #NUSoC student to campus!

PS: If you’re in the Class of 2027 and want to introduce yourself too, DM us to get started!

Everyone say huge hello to Beatriz!

Hi! My name is @beatrizaguiarfonseca (you can call me Bea), and I’m from São Paulo, Brazil. I’m an incoming undergraduate double majoring in Psychology and Communication Studies pursuing the IMC certificate. Ever since I can remember, I always loved to talk. Not only talk but also everything related with human connection and learning fascinated me. That is why I got involved right away with education and community service. Today, I facilitate bootcamps on leadership, social impact, Social Emotional Learning, and Nonviolent Communication for young Latin American leaders and I can’t wait to take advantage of all the opportunities Northwestern will offer me to amplify my passions and also discover new ones.

I’m so excited to get to know the School of Comm community and initiatives and I’m already counting down the days left for Move-In. Other than academic/professional dreams, I’m the biggest music enjoyer out there. I love to sing and play instruments in my room (right now I’ve been learning drums!) and you can ALWAYS find me listening to Hozier or Taylor Swift <3!
