“Going through recruitment and choosing Phi Mu has led me to some of the biggest blessings in my life- and one of those being Merritt. I am so glad Phi Mu led us to cross paths because I seriously could not imagine life without her. From serving on exec together to studying abroad, Merritt has pushed me to be a better person and step out of my comfort zone. This past spring, we studied abroad in Florence, Italy, and it was truly a once in a lifetime experience getting to see the world and new cultures with your best friend. Phi Mu has given me a place to authentically be myself these past 3 years and I am so grateful for each and every friendship I have made. I’m sad to be experiencing all of the “lasts” this year but glad it get to do it with my girls by my side. From endless inside jokes, late nights, shoulders to cry on, sweet treat runs, and smiles put on my face, THANK YOU PHI MU” - stellatopinka 

“Stella was my very first friend in Phi Mu. Little did I know at the time, her and I would later be on Dance Marathon Staff together, serve on Phi Mu Exec together, and eventually move to Italy together for a semester abroad. There isn’t one memory at UofSC that Stella hasn’t been by my side for and I am forever thankful for that. Stella moved to Italy one month before I did so when it was time for me to travel 5,000 miles away from home, I wasn’t nervous at all because I knew I had family already there waiting for me🫀My mom actually referred to Stella as part of the Woodham family last weekend because she is such a true sister to me.
