 - hair grease: i’ve found that using just a little bit of hair grease helps me get straighter results. (be sure that whatever style/styling products you use for your final hairstyle works well with the grease you use. be mindful of product build-up)
 - detangling first: fully detangle each section before blowdrying, it’ll help minimize breakage and aid in getting through that section quicker
 - dry in a downward direction: aim the blow dryer’s airflow downward along the hair shaft, following the natural growth direction of your hair. this helps to minimize frizz and prevent the hair from becoming tangled.
