## Caption

A few months ago, I had the idea to do an immersive music infused film premiere for trappingmovie. The idea was to break the traditional premiere mould of people sitting in a dark room, munching popcorn and watching a film. I decided we will  show clips from the film, have one of the stars abznoproblem17 perform the soundtrack EP, put up an installation of the key location in the film (the Traphouse) and over time, we decided to throw in a chicken shop (serving chicken). 

We explored locations to host this in central London but after attending an event at Here at Outernet, I decided that it was the perfect location for the event. I called partycentral_ldn  to lock the venue in for us. 

Shortly after, we met the team at wearepeppah and they elevated the concept to another level and managed the event for us. We had actors doing immersive theatre (thanks to waleshow) and giving out free t-shirts made for us by boohooman to those in attendance, j2klive blessed us with some trainers to hang from the roof, priscillaanyabu_ hosted for us, traceydee__ coordinated the photographers/videographers, chickenshop fed some of our guests, vampuk shot out some invites for us and we were set. 

The doors weren’t handled in the way we planned (apologies to those subjected to ill treatment by the venue security). I suppose even the venue underestimated our ability to pack a 1400 capacity venue with two weeks’ notice on a Tuesday night. 

Fast forward to Tuesday 12th September, we had a packed room of people taking in our vision. A massive thank you to the people that showed up and showed out for us. A massive thank you to my team at fanstudiosinsta for always supporting my crazy visions. 

Today we took Trapping to the Houses of Parliament for another one of our crazy experiments. More on that later.
