The crawler’s first miles for Artemis II! ⁣

On Aug. 28, 2023, NASA's enormous steel crawler returned to the crawler yard park site from delivering mobile launcher 1 to Launch Pad 39B at NASAKennedy. ⁣
⁣
Now that the four-mile journey is complete, teams will prepare the launch pad and mobile launcher 1 for various tests and upgrades in preparation for Artemis II — the first crewed Artemis mission to the Moon. ⁣
