For as long as I can remember nature has been my safe haven. I grew up going camping twice a year with my dad, sister & many other father daughter/son duos. A tradition I hope my future family continues. The value of nature installed in me as a child combined with my current knowledge of self care (putting my body in the icy water) & reflection (journaling) was definitely the medicine the doctor ordered for me to have a cleansing reset. Reconnecting with yourself looks different for everyone and I suggest finding what it was that brought you peace as a child & just submerge yourself in that environment. I wish there was a bonfire to end the evening but I digress. To Canada & the Canadians, thank you for a lovely weekend, you were greatly appreciated.
