Today is the day that thousands march in #NYC to demand an end to the fossil fuels that are killing our planet, people, and wildlife.⁣

Scientists have been telling us for decades that our current trajectory of warming, driven by the greedy and reckless expansion of oil, gas, and coal corporations is not sustainable. ⁣

This Wednesday at the UN Climate Ambition Summit in NYC, global leaders have the chance to alter course and #endfossilfuels to usher in a just transition to renewable energy systems. ⁣

We must also #MakePollutersPay for the extreme climate impacts they have caused, especially in the Global South.⁣
