UPDATE: Sam Gagner who the Oilers signed to a PTO, had surgery on both of his hips earlier this year, will only practice in training camp and will not play any Pre-Season games. Per, Jim Matheson

He is expected to be re-evaluated in a month and might join the Bakersfield Condors when he is ready.
