🥔 POTATO DAYS - Celebrate the Idaho potato this weekend!

Get ready for a spud-tacular event in Meridian this weekend! potato.days is coming to Kleiner Memorial Park on Friday (5-9pm) and Saturday (9am-8pm), celebrating everything about the famous Idaho potato. This is a FREE family-friendly event.

Here's a mash-up of what to expect:

🍟 Dive into a variety of potato-based dishes and activities, and witness a french fry competition.
🛍️ Explore 15 food trucks, all featuring real Idaho potatoes, and 20 vendors (Vendor areas are open only on Saturday).
🎶 Enjoy live music performances, including tunes from the boiserockschool.
🎨 Admire a massive chalk art installation from over 60 local artists. Catch them in action on Friday, September 22, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
🎪 Engage in over 20 carnival games like limbo, balloon juggling, bottle flipping, corn hole, potato sack races, and potato trick shots.
🚚 Snap a picture with the iconic Big Idaho Potato Truck and marvel at the 4-ton potato.
🎉 Meet Spuddy Buddy, the internationally famous potato mascot, and visit the idahopotatodrop.
🧒 Check out the largest bubble garden in Idaho to dance, twirl, and blow bubbles.

Founder and CEO of rootsfamilyhistory, Thomas Watson, emphasizes the importance of celebrating Idaho's rich agricultural heritage and the 13 billion pounds of potatoes harvested each year in the state. He envisions Potato Days becoming a cherished tradition for Idaho families.
