Shoe game on fire 🔥
•
Dodger’s Clayton Kershaw pitched 7 perfect innings before he was taken out at the top of the 8th.
•
Dodger’s manager Dave Roberts decided to pull him 80 pitches into his start, deciding to prioritize health over a chance at the 24th perfect game in MLB history.
•
While baseball fans have mixed reactions over Roberts decision, Kershaw has shared that although he would have liked to keep pitching, he believes Roberts made the right decision. “At the end of the day, those are selfish goals. We’re trying to win. That’s what we’re really here for,” Kershaw shared after the game.
•
That's the team spirit we love to see 🥺 #thegist
