DJI Air 3 Unboxing Video 🎥 - been flying this drone for almost a month now - thoughts below 👇👇 . Size/weight 🏋️ - the drone is bigger and heavier (720g vs 595g) than the air 2S. I compared the Air 3 to Colin’s Mavic 3 and they seemed to be almost the same size Battery Life 🔋 - I don’t know the exact flight times I have been getting but I know it’s a significant increase than the flight times with the Air2S. This should open up the door to continue experimenting with long hyperlapses and more flexibility in general during shoots. Ascent/Descent Speed 🏎️ - seem to both be a significant increase. I am spending less time getting the drone into position before and after a shot. 	 Range 📡 - Range is a big upgrade from the 2S. I can fly around downtown with less of a concern of losing signal around buildings, etc. Haven’t lost signal during a flight yet. Prop Noise 🔊 - the Air 3 is quieter during take off and flight than the Air 3 Cameras 📸 - there are two cameras on the Air 3: Wide Angle Camera - comparable to the camera on the air 2S.  Telephoto 3x Camera 🔭 - I love this lens. It can create photo/video that challenges what people are used to seeing from aerial photography/videography.  Controller 🎮 - I picked up the DJI RC 2 which has a built in screen and does not require a phone. This has been a nice upgrade for the main reason of not needing my phone to be plugged in and mounted in the controller every time. Allows for less time setting up and more time flying. . NEGATIVES: SMALLER SENSOR: I am disappointed that this drone can’t record 5.4k video like the Air 2S could. Seems like a step backwards. I like the 4k 60 video mode but I still miss the 5.4k video. Also in photo modes there are less pixels to work with. LOW LIGHT: The low light capabilities seem to be the same as the Air 2S - I would have liked a bigger upgrade here. MANUAL SHUTTER SPEED CONTROLS IN PHOTO/VIDEO: maybe this is a me issue but I am pretty sure this drone limits shutter speeds when in certain modes which the Air 2S didn’t do. This has been an issue in low light settings when I am trying to use longer shutter speeds. Hopefully a software update will fix this. SUMMARY: the Air 3 is an extremely capable drone that will be my daily driver for probably the next year or so. Excellent range and battery life make this drone a pleasure to fly.  #droneunboxing @DJI Official
