🤎 ‘BLACK HISTORY We Should All Know’

👉🏾 In 1991 The Lorraine Motel became the National Civil Rights Museum

👉🏾 It was built in 1925 and was for whites only

👉🏾 In 1940s it became one of the only hotels that would accommodate Black people

👉🏾 Because of its history in Memphis Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. chose to stay there
