Icon edition:

We keep the same navy base, however we swap out a lot of the tan for white, leaving the tan as more of an accent color which I think helps make this set POP. The word mark and number font get a revamp with drop shadow fill, something the pelicans have already used in previous city editions but simply haven’t leaned into for their brand entirely yet. The side trim on both the jersey and shorts is going all in on the pels, using their majestic birds wings in their logo as the inspiration. And finally: One NOLA, a fitting jock tag slogan for a team whose identity has always been about community and family. The player number used for this set is pelicans SF brandon Ingram.
