From “accidental athlete” to Paralympic champion!

We spoke with ellie_anne_marks about her journey to competing at the Paralympics via weareinvictusgames. 

Ellie is a two time Paralympic champion in 100m SB7 breaststroke and S6 backstroke, and is aiming for paris2024 next. 

“This journey has been a mental and physical journey in a positive way. I really always just aim to make the people that support me proud, whatever that may look like”. 

“The pool is my happy place. It’s very easy to want to be in the pool because it brings me so much joy”.
