I still appreciate the basic sentiment I shared five years ago. However, in the growth and expansion I’ve experienced since then, I’d add to take that chance, not hold yourself back, and to move forward with fear ONLY IF it is because it is really what *YOU* want. And not because of some social expectation or push from the ever present hustle culture that demands we do more and be more.

We all get stuck during different seasons of our lives, fearful of going after that big thing, asking for what we are worthy of, for fear of rejection. AND, we also don’t always need to be chasing all the things. 

I challenge you to dig deep into your desires and dreams and determine which are truly YOURS. And then discard that which has been placed upon you and internalized by you.

What if when looking at this picture, the lens is not me chasing all my dreams, but instead - just running with my dog and enjoying the moment of the sun on my face. No expectations other than to BE IN THE MOMENT ~ and to be totally fulfilled by just that? What if…✨

Maybe, just maybe...all any of us are trying to do is to get back to this version of ourselves. Carefree. Without fear. Willing to run towards what we want without hesitation.
You can do that, you know. Go after what you want. What’s holding you back? Fear of failure? Getting hurt? That it won’t work out?
We should be more afraid of sitting in the same place, filled with want and regret.
Take a chance. Go after it. Full speed. Hair blowing in the wind. It’s the best way. 😉
