3 months ago, we set out to find editors to come work at Righteous Eats, with the goal of having them advance to becoming producers, talent, and even partners. Here’s how we selected them, and here’s who they are.

Up first: Kai Medina kai.mdna. They’re not mentioned in the video because they responded to a different editing challenge over a year ago (!), but they’ve been working with us for almost 2 months now. 

Next: Gabriel Reyes badmongabe. The editor of this video, he’s the only non-New York resident we chose. He’s currently focused on editing Building Righteous Eats clips.

Third: Sam Rhythm Berman samrhythmm.  An LES resident, Sam stood out as a talented shooter/editor who moonlights as one half of a DJ duo called Dolla Slice 🍕.

And finally: Mishka Murphy mishkamakesfood. Mishka’s submission video stood out, but so does the content he produces in his kitchen in the BX. Check out his channel for a ton of useful recipes.

We’ll be tagging editors and producers on each of our videos from now on, so you’ll know who’s working on what. Our goal is to hit 12 videos/week, and each editor will be delivering 1-3/week. RobMartinez will continue delivering the rest.
