Sunday night whine 🍷… going back to school is H A R D. I just wanna read something fun (like what’s on the right side the pic - thank you brenebrown. I just wanna write something fun (not pictured 😆). I’m tired of skipping fun things because “I have to do homework”. I’m tired of trying to find some energy at the end of my work day to do more school work, when I’d already done school work in the morning before work. I’m tired of big words. I’m tired of scholarly articles and citations. I’m tired of not having enough time for creativity without a purpose. 

I. Am. Tired. 
My brain is T I R E D.

Yeahhhh I chose this. Yeahhhhh I actually love what I’m learning about leadership and Industrial Organizational Psychology. And yeahhhh I’m MF still tired.

I might cry for three days straight when this paper is turned in and the quarter is over. It’s been the hardest one yet. Between demands at work and the demands of school, ugh. And then just trying to human as a mom, daughter, partner, sibling, friend, and so on … 

I’ve sucked at showing up for others lately. And maybe that’s okay, because I usually show up for others before I show up for myself. But dammit it’s a hard thing to do. Showing up for oneself. 

I’m learning. I’m trying. I’m failing. And then I’m trying again. 

Cheers (with an energy drink) to the ones also writing papers while working and mom-ing, and partner-ing, and all the things. We can do it. And if we can’t? That’s okay too. ♥️

P.S. f*ck edits. I’m not rereading this post for errors. I’m too effing tired.
