Always the reminder at the moments I need it most. ‘Graceful’ to remind this Type A, recovering perfectionist, to grant herself as much grace as she grants others. ‘Warrior’ to remind me that my current battles are survivable, because I’ve already won so many. I may be bent, but I will not be broken. And the Writer’s Plume for the obvious reason - I am a writer. But more importantly I am the author of my life. I do not have to write my story according to others’ beliefs or expectations of me. Whatever they think of me is really none of my business, nothing to live according to, nor do I need to carry it. I have the power to choose how to live my life. I can and I will write the story of my choosing. 💪🏻🖤✨
