Because the thing is, I spent most of my life taking on different shades like a chameleon, and bending, molding and shaping myself, thinking it would make me more lovable and worthy. And yet - I still wasn’t enough (in others’ eyes). Now, I’m in the best shape of my life, and others STILL find fault with who I am. But guess what, I don’t have to listen to them. I don’t have to believe their point of view. Their opinion, is none of my business. Nor do I want it to be. So ... if you need me, I’ll just be over here being who I want to be.
