Can we talk about something? About how we filter ourselves according to how we think we should be seen or how we believe others would prefer to see us? And how the more we do this, the further away from our true selves we get...can we talk about that?

Let me tell you something, for years, Y E A R S, I filtered myself. Diluted my true being to meet the needs and desires of those around me. I did everything I could to be approved of.
•
And holy shit, I was unhappy. Because the thing is, I still didn’t feel like I was enough. No matter how much bending and breaking I did to show up in a way I thought I would and could, be loved more, I still felt less than.

And I was right. I wasn’t enough. FOR MYSELF. Because I wasn’t honoring myself. I was like a dress up doll layered in the expectations of others.

Here’s the thing. Aren’t you tired of feeling like you’re never enough? Aren’t you tired of measuring your worth based on someone else’s ideals? Aren’t you tired being so far away from yourself?

Faking is taking, my loves. Taking away from the absolute gorgeous, real, unique person you ALREADY are.
•
Shed some layers. Take off the expectations of others. Step back into your true self. And you will begin to feel absolute freedom. Absolute contentment. Absolute love.

And then you know what happens?
