This. ALL of it. Sit in the stillness of your heartbreak and pain. Even when it's hardest. ESPECIALLY when it's hardest. There is no quick fix. There is no short cut. You can try and numb it with busyness, alcohol, work, and so on. But it won't go anywhere.
.
It'll sit within you. Maybe at times buried deeper, when you pile "stuff" on it. But still there. And it'll still find its way to the surface. It'll show up. In how you treat people and how you treat yourself.
.
The only way to the other side is through it. And that requires stillness. It seems strange, right? That stillness is the way through? 'Through' indicates movement. 'Stillness' does not. And yet, stillness is exactly that. It IS movement. Just not in the way we usually think.
.
Stillness is an action. It IS you choosing intently to sit in the pain and process it. Reflect on it. Learn from it. Stillness is choosing to vibrate higher by sitting in the depths. Stillness is seeking the light while sitting in the darkness. It is a strange set of opposites, isn't it.

Make friends with the pain. Plainly speaking, it can suck. Big time. But with time in the stillness, you feel the beauty in becoming.

Stillness begets movement, vulnerability, strength, rising. Healing.

And then freedom. And by the way...you don't have to sit in the depths alone. We can do this together. ✨💖✨
