GO RED DAY! ♥️
I have heart disease. Did you know that? I was diagnosed over ten years ago. I've never smoked a cigarette in my life. I've never tried an illegal drug. I'm a light drinker. And at the time I was diagnosed I was approximately 10lbs over the 'preferred' weight for a woman in her early 30's. I had zero risk factors. ♥️
I thought I was just tired, stressed, and had bad allergies. Instead, my cardiologist informed me I was extremely close to having a heart attack. My heart muscle extremely weak and performing at a small fraction of what it should be. ♥️
I ignored the symptoms at first, because I couldn't fathom or believe a young woman my age, with no risk factors, could be having heart issues. ♥️
To learn more about symptoms for women, please check out the @american_heart. The symptoms and signs can look very different from men. Educate yourself and always seek professional help if you experience any of the symptoms. Don't wait. If I wouldn't have sought help when I did, I may not have survived. It's that simple. ♥️
Do yourself a solid ladies and pay attention to your body and the signs. Take care of YOU. The world needs you AND YOUR HEART. ♥️
