The cadet spotlight shines today on C3C Kyla Risenhoover. 

Kyla is the cadet in charge of the Native American Heritage Club and is passionate about her own Citizen Potowatomi Nation heritage. She loves sharing her experiences with others, as well as learning about other people’s backgrounds. She also enjoys the lessons she is taking away from leading a club and sharing the Academy's connections with native tribes. 

Kyla came to #youracademy from Edmond, Oklahoma to become a better leader and serve her country. She is the first in her family to serve in the Air Force, though she has uncles and grandparents who served in the Army or Navy. 

Kyla is a behavioral sciences major and hopes to go into information operations in the @usairforce after she graduates in 2025.
