Our diversity is not a problem, it is a strength.  It is one of the things that makes America a great place. 

Those words from Dr. Ben Carson during the keynote address at the end of a very thoughtful day one of the National Character and Leadership Symposium. 

The former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development also told cadets that good leaders show care and concern for all people in our society and have the courage to stand for what's right and make decisions that may subject them to criticism. 

#NCLS2022 concludes today with more speakers and discussions.
