Meet C1C Zachary Wolf!

What attracted you to USAFA?
.
Growing up with parents who are both nurses, I always knew that I wanted to help people. When I was younger my dream was to both become a pilot or a doctor and eventually have a family. I knew that by choosing to come here I would be able to make at least one of those professional dreams come true and I would definitely be able to take care of a family at the same time.

What's been your favorite experience in an Airmanship program?
.
My favorite experience as a member of the Wings of Blue has been teaching Airmanship 490, the basic jump program offered here to members of the 3 degree class during the summer. Seeing my student’s faces after they exited the plane for the first time has been and will be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Getting to work with such high level individuals and seeing their success after a mere three days of ground training was incredible and something I will never forget.

What career field do you want/are you going to?

After graduation I will be heading to Pilot training to join the 92T0 “Pilot” career field.

What's the most important thing you've learned through the Airmanship program?
.
The Wings of Blue has taught me how to be a true teammate. Getting the opportunity to truly work with some of the best that America has to offer has been a humbling experience to say the least. My teammates and coworkers have taught me what it means to be selfless, humble, and relentless. They have helped shape me into the leader that I am today, and will be with me for the rest of my life. I cherish every moment and memory we have together and can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us.
