The Crusaders Against Cancer Club raised more than $600 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (@llsusa) through its annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament.
 
Enjoy the tremendous photos by Noah Morlock ’25 and the excellent video by Connor Devans ’23 as fan favorite Kenny Elliott ’23 helped the Ball Hogz to this year’s title before a great crowd of classmates in the Kennedy Field House during a recent Gold Period.
 
Also on the championship team: Deng Doar ’23, Nick Purdie ’25 and Zachary Harris-Stephenson ’24. The runners-up were the Oduelys: Ed Crotty ’25, Ian Blake ’25, Jack Steiner ’25, and Sam Atkinson ’25.
 
The tournament featured 20 teams competing in preliminary games after school in games organized by Crusaders Against Cancer, moderated by English teacher Julie Hogan, and staffed by volunteer referees including history teacher Dennis Beecher ’88, science teacher Mia LaMarco, Assistant Admission Director Brendan Tenney ’12 and seniors Matt Fronczak ’23 and Nick Scandurra ’23.
