## Caption

🎨 I made this vision board about a year ago. I was very intentional in creating it, setting the intention that in the year to come I would be working for myself. I just knew, and worked towards that goal.

💪When I started working out of college at large advertising/marketing agencies, I was always thinking about being my own boss. I knew the easiest way to do this with the least risk involved was to make sure I had steady freelance work as soon as I left a job (because I do not want to worry about money and doubt my decisions).

🕛I was already contracting, creating content for a brand on a monthly basis, and I had contracted with smaller agencies doing design work on a weekly basis. Of course, this is all not including the time I wanted to put in working on my social media, as well as working on branding projects for small businesses.

✈️Overall, I was spreading myself WAY too thin, and although my full-time job was remote and gave me a lot of freedom when it came to my lifestyle, I knew in my heart and have always known that I wanted to work for myself. After I got one more client, I knew it was time to take the risk (although very calculated) and quit my job. 

🚙I’m excited to bring you on this journey with me (I know it’s going to be a long one)! I’m looking forward to working with fun brands and clients, and truly bring myself to work everyday. 

🚨and here's a PSA: if you don't have a vision board, if you haven't written down your most important goals or visualized them and started taking action steps, please start doing this.

It is SO SO important to be intentional of how you spend your time and always make sure you are working towards a greater, larger goal. But also enjoy the process 😎
