Your saddle, step by step. Day 5

The top set of flaps are secured to the tree, and the girth webbing securely attached around the tree. Girth straps are stitched to the webs so that there is an even pull from each side.

The panel is formed and flocked, and then symmetrically 'laced-in' to the saddle

It is important that all aspects of saddle manufacture are symmetrical, and great care is taken to achieve this, from the seat, to the panels, to the girth straps.
