Did you know that we can accomodate all levels of water walking for your horses rehab or conditioning program ? Here we have a 17.3hh WB mare who has just started hydro therapy for her SDFT injury. We are using deep water to provide her with up to 30% buoyancy to alleviate the pressure on the tendon due to weight-bearing, and slowly strengthen and condition the ligament and newly developing fibres to support the body once she returns to full wejght-bearing exercise.
