💪💪💪 ANOTHER WINNER💪💪
Lady River (Headwater x Ibis) won her first trial on Monday by an impressive 2 lengths ! Lady River is another fine product of Matthew Bates of @mbates1997 sensational breaking in skills and since an early 2 yr old, she has been engaged in our conditioning and ore training program on the ECB Cold Water Treadmill. We NEVER have the young horses in water above their knees, as we aim for the perfect balance of resistance training, increasing their balance, developing core strength and increasing muscle development all over the body evenly - this method of carpal height water training has been scientifically proven to INCREASE the horses length of stride. Whilst deep water can have its benefits, it can easily encourage a horse to hold its head higher, to keep away from the water, which shortens the back muscles, and this will result in an ‘upside down’ horse and a shortened stride. We have also been using the amazing new technology of the ECB InstantCryo after heavy gallop sessions to keep her back and joints happy. 
Lady River is also fed only the best of feed when she isn’t in town training, as we use the high quality Nourish EQ Pellet and receive invaluable advice from @dr_caroline_foote of Equine Consulting Services and what great results we are achieving.
