Howdy Austin! 🤠 New here? It’s okay, we get it: Austin rocks 🤘🏼 But! With great tacos & music, comes great responsibility. (Swipe to see some great orgs + old nonprofit photos!) 👉🏼

Today is #AmplifyAustin day @ilivehereigivehere - the biggest day of giving in Central Texas, where ~us here~ residents raise millions to support 700+ local nonprofits by making donations through AmplifyATX.org.

Some of you know this, but my college degree and career pre-photography was actually Nonprofit Management! 🤓 I learned about and worked in/with nonprofits in Austin for years and these orgs are doing more than most will ever realize for this community.

They are feeding newborns, taking in refugees, housing domestic violence survivors, providing basic healthcare, helping keep Austin a #nokillcity for animal shelters, keeping our belovedthe trail + rivers + and parks clean , and so much more.

I encourage everyone to log onto AmplifyATX.org today and see what organizations may be touching your heart specifically as we move into this 24 hours of amplified giving across Central Texas.

We live here, so we should be giving here.
We take care of eachother here in Austin.
It’s part of our identities as Austinities.
We welcome you to join us ❤️
