"I was born and raised here - I graduated from University of Nevada, Reno, and our family business has been in operation here since the late 80’s, so it’s never crossed my mind to leave Reno. For the longest time, my only issue with Reno was lack of an ice rink. Well, that’s now been solved. An extraordinary group of individuals simply decided Reno needed a rink and got it done. And later when the opportunity came to bring something special to Reno like the Ice Raiders, I jumped at it. More importantly the community embraced it, and the support we’ve received has been nothing short of shocking. I love this city, and it’s an honor to be able to bring something meaningful to it."
