Iron Brew Day! 🍻🤘🏽 @ucdavis is well known for their programs that specialize in food, wine, and beer science. “Practical Malting & Brewing” is a course that ends with a brewing competition between students and the beers they’ve created; the winners get to have their beer brewed here at Sudwerk on our Caspary Brewhouse!

This year’s winners designed a beautiful Imperial Stout that we brewed today alongside UCD grad and brew competition winner, Jeff. He describes this beer as a perfectly executed familiar style, and we couldn’t agree more. Stay tuned for a release date! 😆🍻🖤
