Q: What made you choose Vanderbilt?⁣
A: When searching for a college, I was really looking for college in a city that offered the Cognitive Studies major. Also, I was looking for schools that offered merit scholarships, and Vanderbilt gave me a merit scholarship.⁣
⁣
Q: Why did you choose to study Cognitive Studies?⁣
A: I'm interested in Neuroscience, Psychology, Computer Science, and Statistics, so Cognitive Studies really combines all of that in a way that focus on memory and learning and applies it in a very relevant way to the human experience.⁣
⁣
Q: So far, what has been your favorite part about Vanderbilt?⁣
A: Vanderbilt is the perfect size for me as I went to a really big high school. Vandy is big enough to have so many opportunities but still small enough that you can run into people you know on your way to class, which I really like.⁣
⁣
Q: What do you love about Vanderbilt outside of class?⁣
A: There are lots of opportunities for students to take on leadership positions and explore different fields that they want to try. For example, I'm Production Manager for Vanderbilt Off Broadway and Electrician for Vanderbilt University Theatre. I get to do all these different things that aren't necessarily a part of my major or super academic, but they are still super fulfilling and interesting as possible career options.⁣

Q: If you could say something to Vanderbilt University's Instagram followers, what would you say?⁣
A: Vanderbilt is a really great place to explore who you are and who you want to be.⁣
