#Repost from caseypowell22 see what the Orange legend had to say about his time with Coach Simmons ahead of this weekend's HOF induction:
・・・
"This is a picture of me, some of my teammates and Cuse Hall of Fame lacrosse coach Roy Simmons Jr. This picture was taken in 1998 after my last collegiate game in a disappointing 10-9 loss to eventual champion Princeton. Coach just announced his retirement to Syracuse Nation after one of the greatest coaching runs in sports history. If you look closely, you will see tears in my eyes. This was a moment that I realized that the relationships I had made were bigger than the goals I scored, that the experiences I had were greater than the games I played in, and that the life lessons I learned were much greater than the trophy's I could win. I'm so honored and humbled that Coach Simmons will be my presenter into the uslacrosse Hall of Fame this coming weekend. Simmie, you were always much more than a lacrosse coach to me. Thanks for being a friend and my hero. I love you Simmie! #22easy #syracuse #HHH #greatestleaderofalltime #6Nationalchampionships #domesweetdome #TYA"
