Devastating news in the sports world today. Franco Harris, legendary  @steelers running back, passes away at 72.
The @profootballhof member won 4 Super Bowls with Pittsburgh in the 70’s and was part of the most iconic play in league history, the #ImmaculateReception, against the #OaklandRaiders.
His passing comes just days before the 50th Anniversary of the play & the weekend where the Steeler were to retire his number 32 against the @raiders this weekend.
Franco retired as the 3rd All Time leading rusher in NFL history.

Condolences to the family, friends, teammates and fans (Franco’s Italian Army) of the Pittsburgh Icon.
