Philip Maynard, MD is a Fellow in Headache Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He graduated from New York Medical College and completed Neurology Residency at Mount Sinai. He is an extroverted native New Yorker who likes to stay active while making sure to take time out for self-care and reminding others to do the same. After discovering the fascinating field of Neurology in which he was able to care for people throughout their entire lives and treat neurological issues that encompass the entire human body, he found Headache Medicine. In Headache Medicine he enjoys the opportunity to get to know his patients exceedingly well and help them return to their interesting and important lives. With so many new advances and clinically important discoveries, the future is promising!
